So wow, a lot just went down these past few days. After years of watching from the sidelines, I got frontpaged, got 4,000 views on a cartoon I made, and got some of the most heartwarming comments I've ever received on a movie I've made. Thank you all so much! I promise the content creation chain isn't going anywhere, I got two cartoons in the pipeline, music, illustrations, if you guys want to see stuff, I've got stuff! Thank you so much for all of this support, it has literally made this week ten thousand times better. I have never gotten support like this on art I've made and it's really humbled me but also filled my heart with joy. So, thank you so much, again.
I would like to use this as a chance to promote my other crew mates who helped make SO A MOUSE WALKS INTO A BAR possible, though! It wasn't a one person effort, everyone worked their asses off on this thing.
My friend Nicholas Cunningham was one of the lead animators on this project, and did a lot of the opening shots. He also did the gorgeous comp work (assembled all the assets together) and boarded some quick scenes. He also provided the voice for the heartthrob orange cat, Tang. https://nbcunningham.myportfolio.com/
Sunny Podbelsek did most of the boards besides me, boarding the majority of scenes after our little mouse boy Petey wins the claw machine. Aside from doing a lot of character design and finalizing the credits and logo, she also did a ton of backgrounds and animated a few scenes! https://sunnyrae.art/
Ross Sheely did a lot of animation for the project and worked as one of the lead character designers for the cats. Ross also knocked out a lot of backgrounds and recorded some great whistling foley. https://www.teethshank.com/
Sam Phillips doesn't have any social media but he did a majority of coloring and prop design for the movie.
Thank you guys so much and thank YOU for watching, more to come, I promise!
